What is Cotton Satin?

It is a common type of weaving due to its knitting structure. Satin fabrics contain between 80 and 120 threads in 1 cm2. In the knitting structure, it is 5 warps / 1 weft or 7 warps / 1 weft.

In order to have so many threads in such a small area, the thread used must be very thin (40/1). The advantage of this is a soft touch on the finished fabric. However, due to the high price of fine yarn and the frequency of weaving, the cost of fabric due to the decrease in the efficiency of the weaving machine is also high.
